You Are A Part Of The Greater Universe...YOU ARE NOT ALONE
During the past few weeks several of you have written that you are feeling alone in your isolation as a caregiver to your loved one. While it is true that your role requires you 24/7 without respite care to relieve you and many of your family and friends simply cannot comprehend your needs and what you go through as a caregiver, you must remember that you are never alone. You may feel "LONELY" in your isolation. However, your are not alone. Please remember this.
You are just like a grain of sand on the beach. You are a part of something much bigger called the Universe. Humans are made up of atoms and molecules no differently then the billions of stars that shine at night; no different then the moon, the sun, the drops of water that make up the oceans, lakes and rivers and everything that exists in the Cosmos. You are each a gift that contributes to the whole. The whole being the larger picture, the total makeup of the Universe.
If the grains did not exist, the drops of water evaporated and there were no stars, there would be nothing. Pure nothingness. However, it all exists and you exist as well. While you may feel small in comparison you are a light and a part of the whole total scheme of the Universe.
Take time to quiet yourself breathing in love and light and good thoughts. Breathing in deeply with each breath, allow the stress and tensions to leave your body. On your exhales breathe out all the negativity, the worry, the doubt and your fears. Breathe in all the loving energies of the Universe until you feel each part of your body letting go from your head to your toes.
When you are feeling relaxed and peaceful, imagine that you are that grain of sand that contributes to the beautiful beach. Imagine yourself as the glowing bright star. Feel your connectedness to the Cosmos. For a few moments, permit yourself to detach from your earthly existence and feel how it feels to be part of the whole scheme. Feel loving feelings of joy and gratitude to be a part of this picture. It is easy to forget that you are a part of this greatness. Imagine what it would be like if there were no stars, drops of water or grains of sand. Even in death you return to dust or ash to maintain your integrity and inclusion in the total part of the whole. It is an ongoing cycle and you are all a part of the Universe. Allow yourself to bathe in these feelings of wondrous thoughts.
When you feel yourself coming back into your physical body, bring back your experiences and awareness from this exercise and begin to write as much as you can. See if you can remember throughout the week about how truly special you are, remembering that you play an important role in the Universe.
Blessings to you on your journey.
