click here to return to contents As caregivers you can run through a plethora of emotions. Sometimes, you may think you are the only one going through these changes. Life brings us through ups and downs to have us experience growth and healing. Everyone goes through this. I laugh out loud to myself when I catch myself wishing that life would go smoothly all the time. Deep in my heart I know that all these experiences are necessary in order for me to move forward on my journey. When I get into this funk, I remind myself to list everything I am in gratitude for. This week take time to list 25 things in your life you are in gratitude for. Detail why each item is important for you. Observe when you are not in gratitude. Work at changing your thoughts in the moment and feeling the gratitude, knowing that you are moving along in your life towards the bigger picture. Blessings to you. ©Copyrighted Gail R.
