God's Garden
Sue Haas-Member SGH34
God made the earth as fresh as spring.
With sky of blue and birds to sing.
The babbling brook and ocean's roar.
The mountains majesty and so much more.
And when He was done with earthly deeds,
He sprinkled the earth with human seeds.
So we could grow in His care.
Like flowers in a garden fair.
Each one a unique creation alone.
Like a beautiful patchwork carefully sown.
With colors different and species abound.
Not two alike could be found.
Like snowflakes falling from the sky,
So many look similar to the eye.
But He does know each single heart.
A difference in each, a difference apart.
Such a beautiful garden for His pleasure.
His most loved and cared for treasure.
He waters us with blessings untold.
And sends sunshine of love to unfold.
And each and every single day,
He reaches down and picks a bouquet.
To brighten up His kingdom place,
And bring a smile upon His face.
Though some may not be ready yet,
And others are waiting, ready and set.
It is a comfort to know no more to roam,
But to be picked by God and taken home.
