Author: Frank Ochberg, M.D.

Dr. Ochberg is more than a trauma specialist. He is one of the pioneers who created the International Society For Traumatic Stress Studies, and who served on the founding board. Dr. Ochberg worked for National Institute for MH in various managerial and executive posts including Associate Director.

He represented the NIMH in the Department of Justice, Secret Service, FBI, and the National Security Council and supervised the first service programs and victimization research in the United States.
