Ms. Bruce has worked for the "Houston Chronicle" in Research and Promotion, was Chief Technical Writer for the BJ-Hughes Training Center in Midland, TX, as advertising and marketing copywriter for three decades, Vice President in charge of marketing and advertising at Arrowhead Mills, Inc., she has scripted numerous television, audio and videotape presentations and is a published freelance writer, both online and in nationally circulated magazines.

As an experienced public speaker and workshop / seminar presenter, she holds a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston, TX. Having attended both South Texas College of Law and Iliff School of Theology, she has shared her wisdom and compassion, gaining from firsthand experiences and led a "Woman's Healing Circle" for three years when she ran a small herb shop, Earthsong Herbals. She is of Scotch and Choctaw descent..
