Spring is a time for birthing, new beginnings, nurturing and growth as you continue into the next phases of your journeys. I am truly blessed to be hosting, publishing this newsletter, and creating a site that so many will benefit from. It has been a major healing process for me as well as for those who have been touched by these creations. I am sure you will all agree with me when I say that we teach what we need to know. These past few weeks have brought me to caregiving my dear soulful kitty Magi, who is 15. Fortunately, he isn’t critical but has required constant care on my part on an hourly basis during my waking hours and when I am not working at my real job off-line, (which hasn’t been frequent these past few weeks).

I have felt so vulnerable…..everything sets me off emotionally… but I am working at remembering everything I share with you…Thank you to all of you who have supported me through this.

I am only telling you about Magi because not only is there a lesson for me to learn but something we can all benefit from. The prognosis that my traditional vet gave me, was one I was not willing to go for until I tried alternative methods.

As of recent, our holistic vet we have been going to for several years and I have not had the same wonderful, loving connection that we had in the beginning. Because of Magi’s condition, I began putting the power into this vet……and I was internalizing what I was feeling….the feelings of her being mercenary, more concerned with monies and not really making the cat her major concern…with that, on the last visit with her, I mentioned to her secretary my thoughts and today I received a letter in the mail dismissing me for my attitude. .

At first I was speechless….then I realized it was happening for the best….because I had put the power into her, thinking I needed her to help Magi get through this condition…Her dismissal was a further indication of how disinterested she really was and that if she really was concerned with Magi, she would have worked through this on an entirely different level. Any misunderstandings, we were having on a human level could have been resolved either before we continued treatment or after…..

However, this woman chose not to make Magi the priority, let her ego get in the way and never completed anything other than dismissing me from her Practice..

Well, I was clearly able to see that I was wrong to give my power over to her…and within seconds, I was able to say to myself. I am being guided for a higher purpose. I even cried a little and became frightened. Then I got on the phone and called some respected individuals in the field who directed me to those who could possibly help him even more…

So, my lessons of surrender, trust, acceptance and most of all faith have all come into play and for this I am truly grateful…..I sometimes forget to listen to my inner feelings and act on them…What a validation for what I had been feeling intuitively but unwilling to take action for. MY LESSON: TO TRUST MY INNER GUIDANCE AT ALL TIMES.

The outcome of this situation to date is that our old holistic vet was happy to hear from us when we called for an appointment. Since there is no need for her at this time to directly see Magi in person, we have begun working on a different treatment plan.

I also came in touch with two remarkably special wonderful women. One is Susan Marino, who works with animals psychically. She has founded the first Hospice for Animals in her home. She is an incredibly loving and compassionate soul. She has prescribed some special herbal mixtures to place on his tail. I can already see that the tail has begun healing. She in turn gifted me with a mixture to balance and strengthen me through this period.

Another woman, Molly Sheehan, owns the Green Hope Farm in Meriden, New Hampshire. She grows herbs, flowers and much more organically, creating essences for humans and animals. We had a long talk and she sent some essences for Magi , which I have begun administering to him. She too, surprised me with a very special gift: An essence to release the burdens I was carrying as well as align me with God and the Universe.

As many of you might already know, herbs, flower essences, homeopathy and other alternative realms of healing offer wonderful and miraculous possibilities to both humans and animals. I am hoping to provide more information to you about some of these modalities at a later date.

I have asked both Molly and Susan to contribute some articles that would be beneficial for you all in learning more about these methods of healing which have existed for many ages. So my dear friends, I just want you to know that risks are scary but good. Changes always work out for the best. Trust and have faith.
