Attitudes

Ever notice how some people get pushed out of shape over the slightest inconvenience while others easily overcome some of life's greater difficulties against enormous odds?

Not everyone reacts the same way to the same circumstances. That means that circumstances do not determine reactions, even though is may seem that way, otherwise everyone would react exactly the same way to the same circumstance...and not everyone does. Isn't that interesting?

Attitude determines reactions to circumstances.....think about it.

An optimistic, hopeful, confident person will see great opportunities that are invisible to pessimistic doomers and gloomers .....and have dynamite creative ideas that are blocked by negative fault finders, moaners and groaners.

A positive, hopeful, confident attitude is an energy that supports a healthy immune system and heightens healing and recovery. Pessimistic, negative, narrow minded expectations are habits learned from others, that unless broken continue to sabotage personal and professional goals and desires

Here is your assignment:
With a ball point pen, draw a happy face on the inside of your thumb. Two dots for the eyes, a smile for the mouth.

With as much conviction as you can muster, say the following:

I THINK I'LL MAKE TODAY TURN OUT
JUST ABSOLUTELY SWELL,
I'LL JUST EXPECT THE BEST IN LIFE,
I MEAN REALLY WHAT THE HELL?

Look at your thumb during the course of the day. A narrow- minded point of view will be transformed into a more open- minded point of view causing old habits of stress and anxiety to be vulnerable and weak.

Should you accept this assignment, do not be surprised to find yourself behaving in a more accepting and patient way to yourself and others......... without even trying. As a matter of fact, you can expect it. Wanna bet?
