Messageboard Host Application Form

The Empowering Caregivers™ is looking for hosts who would like to moderate our message boards. We would like heartful, compassionate, and outgoing individuals who can devote at least five to six hours of their time each week to view the postings for the forums which you are assigned to. It is important that you have hands on caregiving experience as a family caregiver or knowledge and expertise. It is important that you are familiar with our site, our mission and our software. We will help you to learn to moderate the message boards so that you may grow with us.

Our goal is to create a safe, supportive, nurturing comfort zone for all Caregivers.

TERMS OF VOLUNTEER HOSTING AT THE EMPOWERING CAREGIVERS™ SITE AKA CARE-GIVERS.COM

1. If necessary, Empowering Caregivers™ will provide training and supervision.
2. Staff meetings will be held occassionally and we will require your participation.
3. All information involving the Empowering Caregivers™ site, their forums and chats are confidential.
4. You must present yourself in a professional manner at all times and respect internet etiquette.
5. You will need to keep records of your time, incidents which may occur in postings.
6. You will be responsible for keeping up-to-date on all staff policies and procedures.
